Super Sabre Society President Tom Griffith visited the MAPS Air Museum on Saturday, August 17th. A tour of the facility was conducted by Reed Kimball, Director of MAPS Education. Ken Ramsay made a special trip to MAPS and provided an exceptional overview of the aircraft restoration department and the magic that is preformed to make these old aircraft presentable for display. Meanwhile, Reed took them on a tour of the museum and explained, in an educators unique way, the details of most of the exhibits. This was clearly a learning experience beyond what was expected, just amazing!

Tom was impressed beyond words and couldn’t thank us enough for the terrific visit – and that’s a quote. Tom also noted the close association MAPS has with community development programs like schools, universities, Boy Scouts, business groups. A facility he believes has a bright future beyond our years and I couldn’t agree more. It was a very good day.
